What yoga does for me

Like many people, I first came to yoga because of physical discomforts associated with my aging body and because of job-related stress. I loved yoga so much that soon I developed a regular practice of yoga and meditation at home while continuing to study with many teachers. My practice has transformed my entire life from the inside out. More and more, my yoga is a spiritual practice which has physical and emotional benefits that never stop amazing me. Yoga and meditation grow my center where the truth of my life is revealed in a quiet daily unfolding. I cannot manage life without it.

I believe that yoga should be made available to everyone regardless of age or limitations. I teach many students who have been injured, Framed lily imageare recovering from surgery, are living with arthritis, and countless others who struggle with a variety of physical issues and sometimes emotional ones. I am committed to modifying yoga with use of props so that all my students are able to derive the greatest benefits possible from their yoga practices.
